I received my MSW and my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, and practiced as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. In 1995, I co-created a substance abuse treatment agency in Arizona specializing in the treatment of addictions, trauma, marriage & family, & behavioral issues. I served as CO-CEO of the agency, and had both administrative and clinical duties. I developed and facilitated a comprehensive gender specific substance abuse treatment program, as well as an anger management & a parenting program.
After pursuing my dream of moving to Colorado, I started Rocky Mountain Counseling, where it is my privilege to witness transformation in clients. I work with clients on issues of addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. I utilize a client-centered therapy approach, which includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), & an Eclectic Treatment Orientation. It is my passion to help people recover and to witness improvement in the quality of a client's life.
